As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and delivering innovative digital solutions by collaborating closely with stakeholders, developers, and UX teams. You will drive the product vision, ensure all requirements align with user needs, and manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch. This role requires a strong understanding of software development processes and a hands-on approach to managing backlog items, writing detailed user stories, and validating deliverables.
Job description:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define product requirements and scope.
- Lead brainstorming and requirement-gathering sessions across internal and external teams.
- Translate business needs into clear Epics, user stories, and functional requirements.
- Ensure traceability and alignment of requirements across the product lifecycle.
- Propose new features and product improvements based on analysis and user feedback.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of deliverables.
- Participate in UAT planning and ensure coverage of product requirements.
- Maintain product documentation and communicate effectively with all project participants.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and align with SDLC and DevOps practices.
- Balance technical constraints, user experience, and business goals effectively.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner in software development.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA for backlog and sprint management.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, microservices, and cloud-app models.
- Proven ability to manage change requests, analyze impact, and maintain documentation.
- Experience with process mapping tools such as Draw.io, UML, or Visio.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to write and validate user stories, technical documentation, and process flows.
- Preferred: Background in ERP, order management, or workforce management systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps processes and software design methodologies.
Tech Stack & Tools:
- Tools: JIRA, Visio, Draw.io, UML tools.
- Practices: Agile, SDLC, DevOps, UAT.
- Documentation: Epics, User Stories, Requirements Docs.
Working Conditions: Saturday To Wednesday (Flexible working hours)
Weekends: Thursday & Friday
Location: Maadi (Hybrid)
