MicroBIM is an Australian technology company delivering innovative software solutions for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. We’re driven by quality, collaboration, and the goal of transforming how AEC professionals work globally.
We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team and help us expand our presence in our entry into the GCC market and international markets, driving technical sales and adoption of our BIM and fire protection software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential clients in the engineering, construction, and BIM industries.
- Conduct product demos for MicroBIM tools, showcasing features and technical capabilities.
- Understand client technical requirements and deliver customized solutions aligned with their needs.
- Develop proposals, quotations, and commercial offers in line with company pricing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Follow up on leads, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure timely closure of opportunities.
- Participate in exhibitions, webinars, and partner meetings as required.
- Provide post-sales technical support during onboarding and implementation stages.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Engineering) to convey client feedback and support product improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering or pre-sales role.
- Hands-on experience with BIM workflows, Revit, and MEP systems (fire-fighting and mechanical systems preferred).
- Experience delivering technical demos, presentations, or client training sessions.
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and supporting sales cycles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in MEP engineering or fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with SaaS products, engineering software, or digital construction tools.
- Previous involvement in requirements gathering, client onboarding, or technical support.
- Understanding of construction industry workflows and client needs.
