Job Purpose
The Site engineer manages, coordinates the technical aspects of the projects throughout the construction period. They work closely with interior designers, architects and contractors to ensure that the designs are being implemented properly. Additionally, monitors closely whether the project is being progressed on time and within the budget constraints.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 4–6 years of experience in technical/site engineering roles
• Strong experience in BOQs, pricing, and cost estimation
• Ability to obtain and compare supplier quotations and negotiate offers
• Good knowledge of construction materials and specifications
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and site teams
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
• Proactive, goal-driven, and solution-oriented mindset
Job Responsibilities
• Act as the main technical support on construction sites for contractors, subcontractors, and operatives
• Prepare and review BOQs, pricing, supplier quotations, and material submittals
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure smooth workflow on site
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of execution
• Prepare progress reports, site visit reports, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment with quality standards
• Assist in preparing architectural/shop drawings, schedules, and specifications
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members when needed
• Manage project documentation including budgets, inspection reports, punch lists, and schedules
• Track materials, tools, and resources to ensure efficient usage and minimal waste
• Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation
• Ensure projects meet agreed budgets, timelines, and quality standards
• Attend client meetings and communicate project updates
• Resolve technical issues and site challenges
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to align design intent with site execution
Working hours: Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
