Company Industry: Architecture and Interior Design
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive technical drawings, blueprints, BOQs, and specifications from design concepts to final execution
- Lead the selection of materials, finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment that align with design goals, functionality, and budget constraints
- Create complete technical packages including construction methods, dimensions, and installation instructions
- Produce clear design layouts, mood boards, and technical concepts that reflect the design intent and project objectives
- Respond to RFIs from site engineers and contractors, providing authoritative technical clarifications and ensuring accurate on-site implementation
- Review contractor invoices and site progress reports, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and alignment with project timelines and budgets
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality control, compliance with design specifications, and resolution of technical issues
- Prepare and manage FF&E packages including selection, specifications, and pricing for all interior components
- Produce detailed technical drawings for custom furniture including specifications, materials, finishes, and construction details
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
- 5–6 years of experience as a Technical Designer or Architect with a portfolio of successful built projects
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D rendering tools
- Strong technical knowledge and a meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and coordinate across departments and contractors
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, codes, and industry best practices
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and solve complex technical challenges
- Familiarity with health and safety standards in construction and design environments
Working Conditions:
