Job Purpose

He/She is responsible for planning, negotiating, and executing media campaigns on behalf of clients. Their primary goal is to optimize media spend to reach the target audience effectively and achieve client objectives

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with clients and account managers to understand their marketing goals, target audience, and campaign objectives 

  • Develop media plans that align with the client's target audience, budget, and campaign timeline. 

  • Conduct research on media channels and demographics to identify the most suitable platforms for reaching the target audience.

  • Negotiate competitive rates and terms to maximize the value of media buys and ensure optimal reach and frequency for the target audience

  • Work closely with the creative team to ensure media placements align with the creative assets and messaging

  • Monitor campaign performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance and achieve desired outcomes’

  • Track and analyze media spending to ensure campaigns stay within budget and deliver maximum return on investment (ROI)

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of media campaigns using key metrics such as reach, frequency, impressions, click-through rates (CTRs), conversions, and cost per acquisition (CPA)

  • Provide regular reports to clients and internal teams to assess the effectiveness of media buys and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging media platforms, and new advertising opportunities. 

  • Conduct research on media consumption habits, audience behavior, and competitive media strategies to identify opportunities for innovation and improved campaign performance

  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of media placements and resolve any issues that may arise during campaign execution

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as advertising codes, legal restrictions, and privacy policies

  • Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact media planning and buying decisions

  • Collaborate with account managers, creative teams, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of media campaigns with overall marketing strategies. 

  • Foster a collaborative work environment and effectively communicate campaign objectives, requirements, and timelines


  • A bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field is typically required

  • Previous experience in media planning, buying, or related roles 4-6 Years is required

  • In-depth knowledge of various media channels and platforms is essential

  • Proficiency in using media buying tools and platforms is crucial. Familiarity with industry-standard media buying and planning software

  • Strong analytical skills are necessary to analyze data, interpret campaign performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions

  • Effective negotiation skills are essential for securing favorable terms and rates with media vendors

  • Excellent communication skills are required to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams

  • Zamalek or nearby areas Residents are preferred
