ymera Interior Designer Company is searching for a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance Department. We're looking for a professional who can ensure the integrity of our financial data, manage accounting procedures, and contribute to our strategic financial planning.


Job Summary


You will be responsible for a range of accounting duties, from preparing monthly close procedures to reconciling accounts and assisting with financial statements. Your role is crucial in ensuring accuracy and effectiveness across all accounting tasks and providing essential financial insights to the leadership team.

Responsibilities & Duties


  • Financial Management: Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, maintain the general ledger, and prepare error-free accounting reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial information to summarize our financial status. Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
  • Process Improvement: Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures. Develop and document accounting policies to strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with financial standards.
  • Audits & Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits and tax returns, ensuring we meet all legal and company accounting guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor accounting assistants and bookkeepers, planning and reviewing their work to maintain high standards.
  • Advisory Role: Provide technical support and advice on management accounting to improve financial procedures.


Skills & Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of solid experience in general accounting, including preparing management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant accounting software and expert-level skills in MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy and great attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Analytical Ability: The ability to analyze complex financial information and produce clear, concise reports.

Work Conditions & Compensation


  • Employment Status: Full-Time
  • Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Weekend: Friday and Saturday
  • Location: 6 October, Giza
  • Compensation: A competitive basic salary, with social and Bonus.
