Innovitics is now hiring for a Software QA Team Lead to join its fast-growing team. The ideal candidate is someone who takes the overall responsibilities to manage the software projects and plays an important role in the successful completion of the projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and processes.
- Define test objectives, scope, and resource requirements.
- Oversee the creation of test cases and test scripts.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Lead and mentor the QA team, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Establish and manage defect tracking processes.
- Facilitate communication between QA and development teams regarding defects and issues.
- Define quality metrics to assess the effectiveness of testing efforts.
- Report on testing progress, quality status, and areas for improvement to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in QA.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new testing tools/technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage team resources, including workload distribution and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in QA/testing roles, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership position.
- Proven experience with various testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to think critically about software quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills & experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or others related to quality assurance are a plus.

- Working Hours: 9-11 AM - 5-7 PM
- Work Mode: Hybrid
