Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the market demands, incorporate feature requests into the product roadmap, and
- ensure alignment with business goals.
- Develop user stories with clear acceptance criteria, set sprint goals, and plan for releases and upgrades.
- Groom and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring clarity, prioritisation, and readiness of user stories for sprint planning.
- Collaborate closely with the Development team to develop and maintain a comprehensive Software Requirements Specification (SRS) document, including the creation of detailed technical user stories.
- Use strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and solve problems that arise throughout the product lifecycle.
- Assist with process modelling to clarify business requirements and to enhance or re-engineer business processes as needed.
- Incorporate user feedback and data analysis to refine product offerings, ensuring they address user needs and enhance user satisfaction.
- Design and develop mock-ups and prototypes to provide clear, visual guidance for the development team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role in a software development environment.
- Background in industrial engineering or experience working within a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in successfully delivering complex software projects or features.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and making data-driven product decisions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., JIRA, ClickUp).
- Ability to understand technical issues at a high level.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities.
