Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Scrum Master to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will guide Agile teams in applying Scrum principles and practices to maximize delivery efficiency and product quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, facilitate key Agile ceremonies, and work to remove impediments that block team progress. Job Description:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and productivity.
- Coach and support teams in embracing Agile principles and Scrum practices to enhance performance and team maturity.
- Proactively identify and resolve impediments to team progress and delivery.
- Utilize Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down charts, cycle time) to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through regular feedback loops and process refinement.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure clarity on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Foster open communication, collaboration, and a positive team dynamic across technical and non-technical roles.
- Guide teams in self-organization and cross-functionality, helping members grow in their Agile capabilities.
- Support delivery timelines by monitoring sprint progress and ensuring commitments are met.
- Maintain alignment across teams and stakeholders by ensuring transparency and shared understanding of project goals.
Job Requirements:.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a supporting Agile team role.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and related ceremonies and roles.
- Proven ability to identify and eliminate blockers to team progress.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset focused on building trust and cohesion.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
Tools & Practices:
Agile Tools: Jira, Confluence, Trello, Asana.
Practices: Agile/Scrum, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Continuous Improvement.
Metrics: Velocity, Cycle Time, Burn-down/Burn-up Charts, Impediment Tracking.
- Working Conditions: Saturday to Wednesday (Flexible working hours)
- Weekends: Thursday & Friday.
- Location: Maadi (Hybrid).
