HCC–HEIBCO for Commercial Investments & Real Estate Development is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Internal Auditor. The role is essential in ensuring compliance, strengthening internal controls, and maintaining the financial and operational integrity of our business. You will conduct comprehensive audits, analyze financial records, supervise junior auditors, and report findings to senior management. This position is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in audit methodologies, particularly within the construction or real estate industry.
- Conduct Audits: Plan and execute internal audits, including defining objectives, scope, and methodology.
- Analyze Financial Statements: Review and assess financial data for accuracy and compliance.
- Assess Internal Controls: Evaluate and improve internal control systems to minimize risk.
- Supervise Audit Staff: Provide oversight and guidance to junior auditors.
- Communicate Findings: Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to management.
- Ensure Compliance: Stay informed of relevant laws, standards, and regulations affecting the business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of auditing experience, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CIA are a plus
- Proficiency in GAAP/IFRS and audit tools (Excel, ACL, IDEA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
