Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters for scalable application deployment.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure and applications' performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure cloud infrastructure is secure and meets compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for proactive infrastructure management.
- Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and scalability of the infrastructure.
- Assist in the migration of on-premise applications to cloud-based solutions, ensuring a smooth transition.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 2 years at least as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Strong experience managing and deploying containerized applications in Kubernetes.
- Expertise in writing and managing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
