Expected Job Role
  • Plan, execute, and report on manual and automated testing of web applications and SaaS products.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve software issues.
  • Utilize test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG) to enhance testing efficiency.
  •  Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  •  Perform SQL and database testing to ensure data integrity.
  •  Ensure cross-browser and cross platform compatibility of software products.
  •  Track and report defects using bug-tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
  •  Document test results, create detailed reports, and recommend improvements.
  •  Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to iterative development cycles.

Technology/Technical Focus

Technical Skills:

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or TestNG).
  •  Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
  •  Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  •  Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Experience with test management tools.
  •  Basic understanding of programming languages like JavaScript or Python.
