We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team, specializing in non-food FMCG products within both traditional and modern trade channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies to ensure optimal product availability and cost efficiency.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to maintain optimal product availability and cost efficiency.
Monitor and manage out-of-stock products and initiate prompt replenishment to maintain inventory levels.
Analyze inventory data to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
Create and maintain accurate purchase orders (PO) based on business needs and inventory status.
Negotiate credit terms and handle multiple credit notes efficiently.
Prepare and update price lists to reflect market changes and business strategies.
Source, negotiate, and build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Maintain accurate records of purchased products, delivery information, invoices, and credit notes.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
Collaborate with internal departments to align purchasing with sales and inventory needs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Conduct regular visits to suppliers and partners to strengthen relationships.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager in the non-food FMCG sector, especially in wholesale and traditional trade.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Previous experience in companies such as Hyper 1, Kazyon, Carrefour, BIM, Ben Sileman, Gomla, Green Logo, Maksab, and Tawfeer is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English (above-average level).

Working Hours: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Working Days: Saturday - Thursday (under discussion to be from Sunday to Thursday with Friday and Saturday off)
