Senior Program Officer

Ataa Charity Investment Fund (ACIF), a private charitable investment fund that directs all its profit to serve the disability sector, is hiring a Senior Program Officer.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

M & E Activities:

• Design and manage the annual M&E plan and processes for regular and consistent monitoring and evaluation of all program activities.

• Monitor progress and measure the effectiveness of its activities against the proposed process indicators.

• Work closely with implementing partners to measure achievement against the proposed output and outcome indicators.

• Participate in project planning and strategy sessions with the Managing Director and provide feedback for any needed revisions in program design or implementation.

• Review implementing partners' M&E plans (log frames) and agree on the action/work plans.

• Support the identification, development, and management of potential partnerships to reach AICF targets.

• Implement MEL functions and activities adhering to Ataa's Programs.

• Ensure the quality and consistency of the data collected at the field level and the data entry into the

MEL system. This includes assisting in designing the quantitative and qualitative tools and conducting the needed analysis to compile them into informative solid reports.

• Ensuring partners are complying with the MEL system requirements.

• Assist in the definition and means of collection for indicators and key project data and help shape and implement activities included in the evaluation approach.

• Prepare and maintain and/or review a database for Ataa Fund's Programs MEL System.

• Monitoring the project's financial settlements with the finance department.


Data collection and reporting:

• Design the M&E data collection tools and support the studies and surveys data collection instruments.

• Responsible for the data collection, analysis, and reporting monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual to the Managing Director.

• Oversee implementing partners' reporting on project activities, as outlined in the agreed-on work plans.

• Ensure that all necessary data for the results of the

M&E indicators with the needed disaggregation are collected as scheduled from all project locations to report on project progress against indicators accurately and within deadlines.

• Liaise and conduct Field visits to project sites to collect data from cross-checking the performance and the reporting of the implementing partners and ensure that project activities are being properly monitored. data gathering and monitoring systems ensuring quality standards and monitoring compliance.

• Design, develop, and manage hard and electronic record-keeping and documentation systems for data.


Job Requirements:

• Bachelor in Sociology, Social Development, Development Economics, Political Science, Performance Management, or another relevant field or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional work experience in development projects, preferably focusing on the disability sector, Experience in developing and managing effective Monitoring and Evaluation processes (M&E) is a MUST.

• Demonstrated M&E and performance management skills, including selecting indicators and targets and developing performance monitoring plans.

• Ability and willingness to travel within Egypt to visit project sites.

• To report on the programmatic level log frames for Ataa.

• Ability to work in multi- focused program, organize and prioritize workload and meet multiple deadlines with minimum supervision.

• High analytical skills, reasoning, and problem-solving/ resolution.

• Job Type: Full-Time.

• Working Days: Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

• Friday and Saturday are Off.

• Work Location: Dokki, Giza.
