Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Maintenance Engineer – Fitness Equipment to join our Technical Services team. This role is critical in supervising maintenance operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and analyzing service data to optimize performance. The Maintenance Engineer will oversee technician performance, support preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and contribute to service quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze technical documentation, including manuals and schematics, to ensure accurate installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fitness equipment.
• Supervise and guide field technicians to maintain high service standards.
• Monitor and evaluate technician performance through regular reviews, site visits, and feedback analysis.
• Interpret customer maintenance reports to identify recurring issues, service trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Review and verify spare parts requirements based on service data and usage patterns.
• Support the development and execution of preventive maintenance schedules.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex technical service issues.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure timely responses to service requests.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, spare parts usage, and customer interactions.
• Deliver training and technical support to technicians on MATRIX Fitness equipment and updated service practices.
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in technical service or maintenance, preferably with fitness or electromechanical equipment.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); confident communicator and presenter.
• Prior supervisory or lead technician experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret service data and maintenance reports.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Good understanding of fitness equipment functionality and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with spare parts planning and inventory coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, service management tools, or ERP systems.
• Valid driver’s license with flexibility to travel to customer sites.
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of commercial fitness equipment and related technologies.
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Basic understanding of networked fitness systems and diagnostic tools.
Work Conditions
- Location: Mohandseen, Cairo, Egypt
- Working Hours: 8 Hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM / 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Working Days: 5 Days (On Site)
- Days Off: Fridays & Saturdays
