Position Summary
Responsible for maintaining and ensuring the efficient operation of packing machines, reducing downtime, and supporting production through preventive & corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and daily inspections.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance on packing machines (Flow Pack, VFFS, shrink, labeling, carton packing).
• Diagnose mechanical issues (gears, bearings, pneumatic/hydraulic faults, machine jams).
• Conduct daily inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and machine setup.
• Support production during start-ups and changeovers.
• Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Record maintenance tasks and spare parts usage.
• Follow safety standards and support preventive maintenance plans.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience working with packing machines.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
