EPC Engineering is hiring a qualified Senior Structural Engineer to be a part of their team.
Job Description:
Structural Design and Analysis:
-Develop detailed structural designs for various construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
-Conduct structural analysis to ensure designs are safe, cost-effective, and compliant with local and international building codes.
-Optimize designs by evaluating alternative materials, construction methods, and design approaches to improve performance and reduce costs.
Project Management:
-Create, Review the structural BIM modelling of the project.
Collaboration and Coordination:
-Work closely with architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, and contractors to develop integrated designs.
-Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
-Facilitate regular meetings with project stakeholders to discuss progress, challenges, and changes.
-Technical Reporting and Documentation:
-Prepare detailed technical reports, including calculations, analyses, and design summaries for submission to clients or regulatory authorities.
-Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, revisions, and approvals.
Code Compliance and Safety Standards:
-Ensure that all designs adhere to relevant Saudi and international building codes and standards.
-Stay updated on regulatory changes and integrate them into design practices.
-Address structural safety concerns during the project lifecycle and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Innovation and Research:
-Research and implement new materials, technologies, and methods to enhance structural performance and sustainability.
-Introduce value engineering solutions to maximize project efficiency and minimize waste.
Mentorship and Training:
-Guide junior engineers and technical staff to improve their technical knowledge and professional skills.
-Organize training sessions or workshops to share insights on advanced structural techniques and software tools.
Risk Assessment and Management:
-Identify potential structural risks, including those related to seismic activity, wind loads, or material failure.
-Develop mitigation plans to address identified risks and ensure project resilience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 7-10 years of experience in structural engineering, including design, analysis, and project management.
- Proficiency in structural software (e.g. SAP2000, Etabs, Safe, AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong understanding of construction materials, particularly concrete and steel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead project teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Working Hours: 08:30 AM-05:00 PM
Working Days: 5 days/week (From Sunday to Thursday)
Days Off: 2 Days off (Friday and Saturday)
