As we continue to expand our footprint, we are looking for a detail-oriented and business-savvy Junior Legal Counsel to support our legal and corporate governance operations.
About the Role
As Junior Legal Counsel, you will play a critical role in safeguarding Lanterns Ventures’ operations by providing legal support on corporate, commercial, and financial matters. You'll be involved in contract review, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day legal advisory to various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise contracts, NDAs, and service agreements
- Assist in ensuring company policies comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Conduct legal research and support the business with actionable advice
- Support in managing disputes and liaise with external counsel when required
- Maintain legal documentation, filings, and corporate records
- Monitor legal and regulatory updates relevant to our sectors
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) – Master’s or LLM is a plus
- 1–3 years of experience in a corporate or in-house legal role
- Membership in the Egyptian Bar Association
- Strong knowledge of commercial and corporate law
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
- Attention to detail, confidentiality, and sound judgment
