We are looking for an at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager to manage organization of key client projects and accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.
Responsibilities:
Act as the liaison between Head Office management and the project site to ensure policies and procedures are properly implemented.
Develop the project organization chart and define the project team members.
Oversee the professional development of team heads and conduct periodic performance appraisals.
Provide staff with necessary training and incentives to enhance motivation and efficiency.
Conduct periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure smooth project management and adherence to company policies.
Collaborate with the Planning Department to establish the project master schedule.
Work closely with the Contracts Manager to handle monthly payments, claims settlements, invoices, and related financial matters.
Maintain a positive cash flow for the project by directing and monitoring all billing, payables, and budget control activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
Experience with FEDIC & LEED is an asset
Strong leadership, communication and management skills
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, contract management, and project execution
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Financial acumen, including budgeting and cash flow management
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and risk management
