Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
Perform load calculations and select appropriate equipment (circuit breakers, transformers, cables, etc.).
Review and approve subcontractor and vendor submissions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in electrical design for building systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software (e.g., Dialux, ETAP).
Strong knowledge of NEC, IEC, or other relevant codes and standards.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with sustainable and energy-efficient design practices.
Familiarity with BIM coordination.
Understanding of integration with mechanical systems like HVAC (for coordination purposes, not design).
