Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and engage potential clients within the garment industry for outreach and qualification, leveraging your engineering background to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with product marketing to develop compelling sales materials and value propositions.
  • Prepare and send detailed proposals and quotations to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales solution engineers, to ensure proposals align with client needs and technical specifications.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive closing plans for strategic sales opportunities.
  • Secure commitments from clients and guide them through the contract and closing process.
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales Solution Engineers to understand client requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and pre-sales team for a seamless transition.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the technical aspects, features, and benefits of our products in the 
  • garment industry, staying updated on industry trends and advancements.
  • Address client inquiries and objections with a thorough understanding of our solution.
  • Actively manage and nurture customer relationships post-sale.
  • Identify and pursue upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and prospecting efforts.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales or account management within the garments field or garment industry solutions, with 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with an engineering background.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a relevant field, or equivalent experience, providing a solid technical foundation.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies, processes, and strategies, coupled with effective communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Curiosity and drive to stay updated on industry trends and advancements, coupled with a self-motivated and adaptable mindset.
  • Proficiency in English is a must, additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Technical acumen to understand and communicate product features and benefits.
  • Additional language proficiency is a plus.
