Role Description
The Senior Accountant will oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
Responsibilities include managing general ledger activities, preparing financial statements, supervising junior team members, handling tax compliance, and supporting audit processes. The role requires prior experience in consultancy or professional services firms, with exposure to project-based accounting and multiple client portfolios.
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in strengthening internal controls, improving financial processes, and supporting management with financial insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of accounting experience (preferably within consultancy or professional services firms)
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and Egyptian tax regulations
- Experience in financial reporting and general ledger management
-Experience in handling multiple clients or project-based accounting is preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP proficiency
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy, accountability, and leadership skills
- CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is a plus
Work Conditions
- From Sunday to Thursday
- Saturday & Friday OFF
- Working hours: From 9 AM to 5 PM
- Location: Heliopolis
