Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years in Quality Control in the civil construction field
  • Previous roles held:
    • QC Manager
    • QC Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Planning & Implementation
    • Develop and implement site-specific Quality Control Plans (QCPs)
    • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, local codes, and client specifications
    • Review construction methods and materials for quality assurance
  2. Inspection & Testing
    • Oversee inspections and testing activities
    • Manage third-party testing agencies
    • Maintain detailed inspection and test records (ITRs)
  3. Documentation & Reporting
    • Prepare and manage NCRs, CARs, and MARs
    • Generate regular quality reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  4. Team Coordination & Training
    • Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
    • Train teams on quality standards and procedures
    • Lead quality meetings and represent the company in client interactions
  5. Continuous Improvement
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement
    • Identify inefficiencies and propose process enhancements
    • Participate in internal and external audits

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera, Procore, MS Project)
  • Strong command of Arabic and English (spoken & written)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation
  • Preferably holds certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CQA, or equivalent
