Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Senior to oversee warehouse operations, ensure efficient storage and dispatch of goods, and manage inventory control, loading, and warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth daily operations, accuracy of stock, compliance with safety standards, and timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch.
- Supervise warehouse team (storekeepers, loaders, forklift operators, supervisors).
- Ensure proper stock organization, labeling, and warehouse layout optimization.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure stock accuracy.
- Coordinate loading and container stuffing operations to meet export schedules.
- Ensure proper documentation for inbound/outbound shipments (GRN, delivery notes, packing lists).
- Implement and maintain FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.
- Manage warehouse equipment and ensure preventive maintenance (forklifts, pallets, racking, etc.).
- Reduce losses, damages, and handling errors through strict control procedures.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on stock movement, dispatches, and warehouse performance.
- Coordinate with logistics, production, and export teams to ensure smooth supply chain flow.
- Train and evaluate warehouse staff and ensure discipline and performance compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in warehouse management
- Strong experience in inventory management and warehouse systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling tires (commercial and passenger tires)
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards.
