Ataa Fund Is Hiring Project Coordinator For Disability Programs
Role Overview
The Project Coordinator supports Ataa Fund in coordinating and following up on disability-focused projects, with a particular focus on assigned external initiatives, partner coordination, research, and branding alignment. The role ensures effective collaboration with external partners during specific initiatives and events, while supporting proper representation and visibility of Ataa Fund across funded projects and public engagements.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft project summaries, memos, and briefs to support internal review and documentation of disability-related projects.
• Coordinate with potential donors regarding proposals and requests for information or documentation, as assigned.
• Serve as Ataa Fund’s point of contact for assigned, time-bound external initiatives and joint activities, not as the ongoing operational contact.
• Coordinate with external partners during initiatives such as launches, public events, campaigns, workshops, or conferences.
• Support communication and alignment with partners to ensure clarity of roles, timelines, and expectations during these initiatives.
• Coordinate and follow up on assigned new initiatives with external partners.
• Act as the focal point for coordinating Ataa Fund branding with partner organizations across funded disability projects.
• Ensure proper use of Ataa Fund’s name, logo, and branding guidelines in project materials, reports, events, and public communications.
• Serve as the point of contact for partners’ marketing and visibility needs, including signage, digital content, publications, and event materials, and coordinate these requests with the relevant marketing and communications teams.
• Liaise internally to ensure partner branding requests align with Ataa Fund’s communication and visibility policies.
• Support outreach and partnership activities aligned with Ataa Fund’s mission.
• Coordinate Ataa Fund’s participation, sponsorships, and representation at disability-related events and forums.
• Identify opportunities to enhance Ataa Fund’s visibility and positioning within the disability sector.
• Conduct research on disability initiatives, potential partners, and sector developments.
• Prepare concise research briefs and background notes to support internal planning and external engagement.
• Identify relevant local, regional, and international disability-related conferences and events.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Development Studies, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of Experience
- Skills and experience in project coordination, grant management, partnership support, or communications within civil society or development organizations.
• Strong communication and writing skills, including preparation of briefs, summaries, and coordination notes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong follow-up ability.
• Experience or familiarity with branding, communications, or coordination of public-facing activities is an asset.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with diverse external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
• Attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive, professional approach.
