IOR Development Manager ( Freight Forwarding / Shipping & Logistics)

We’re on the lookout for an IOR Development Manager with strong experience in international logistics, compliance, and B2B development. The candidate will play a key role in expanding Importer of Record (IOR) services in high-growth and complex-entry markets, helping position Alfa Hubs as a go-to partner in sectors like tech, pharma, and industrial trade.

📍 Location 

On-site: Sheraton, Cairo, Egypt

🗓 Working Days & Hours: 

Sunday to Thursday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and promote IOR services to new and existing clients in key international markets
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure end-to-end service excellence
- Track global trade trends to identify emerging opportunities and target sectors
- Ensure full compliance with international import/export regulations and IOR processes
- Serve as the main contact for clients regarding IOR-related development and support
- Contribute to commercial strategy during regular sales and business development meetings
- Design go-to-market strategies for untapped regions and complex trade environments
- Prepare client proposals, tailored solutions, and supporting documentation
- Support the structuring of IOR solutions based on customer needs and legal frameworks

Required Qualifications 

- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Economics, Customs and Trade Compliance, or related fields
- From 2 to 3 years in sales or business development in logistics, IOR, or project logistics
- Proven success in selling logistics/compliance solutions or managing IOR services
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures, international trade regulations, and import/export compliance
- High commercial curiosity with a self-motivated and ambitious mindset

Skills & Competencies

- In-depth understanding of IOR frameworks, trade laws, and customs procedures
- Strong consultative sales skills and ability to manage client relationships
- Cross-functional project management and internal coordination
- Market research, opportunity analysis, and competitive positioning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and reporting skills
