About the Role:
SteelCon Egypt is a leading steel construction company delivering high-quality, innovative structural and industrial solutions. We are looking for a Steel Detailer Engineer to join our growing technical team and take charge of producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings that turn design concepts into reality.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop accurate and comprehensive 2D and 3D technical drawings using advanced CAD software.
Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Review and validate drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.
Manage drawing workflows and coordinate with other team members for consistency and quality.
Provide guidance and support to junior detailers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
Interpret complex technical specifications and engineering documents with precision.
Qualifications and Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of professional experience in technical detailing, preferably in steel structures or industrial/architectural steel projects.
Advanced proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, Revit).
CAD certification (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) is a plus.
Excellent understanding of engineering principles, detailing standards, and spatial visualization.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
High attention to detail and precision in design work.
Effective communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
